Business System Analyst

Daily tasks

• Developing and maintaining transfer settlement systems in the Polish and European markets.
• Gathering and analyzing business requirements.
• Developing functional and quality requirement specifications as part of system analysis.
• Collaborating with other team members and external teams (IT, Business) in designing solutions.
• Change management, ensuring the quality and consistency of documentation.
• Verifying implementation compliance with the specification.
• Preparing test scenarios.
• Acting as a proxy Product Owner in the payments area.

Requirements

Knowledge of requirement gathering methodologies and preparing functional and quality specifications for IT systems. Minimum three years of experience in IT projects implemented for the banking/financial industry. Practical experience in specifying business processes, functional requirements, quality requirements, data models, and system integrations. Ability to think analytically, draw conclusions, and solve problems. Ability to work in a team. Ability to communicate effectively. Knowledge of relational databases and SQL at a basic level. Knowledge of English (B2)

Nice to have: Experience in developing settlement systems such as Elixir, Express Elixir, Sorbet, SEPA, Target. Knowledge of issues related to system architecture (EIP integration patterns, Event-Driven Architecture, microservices, REST). Knowledge of one of the exploration techniques: Event Storming, Domain Story Telling, User Story Mapping, Example Mapping. Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD - strategic level). Knowledge of the Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) approach. Knowledge of GIT. Knowledge of Diagram as Code, Model as Code techniques. Knowledge of issues related to test strategy and automation. Ability to read code at a basic level. Ability to use AI to optimize work.
