System Architect (Java)

For our client in the insurance industry, we are looking for a person for the position 🔹 System Architect (Java) 🔹
Location: Warsaw (4 days a week remote, 1 day from the office)
Daily tasks
- Co-creating and programming changes in the system
- Creating migration strategies from a monolithic solution to a Microservices architecture based on a private cloud
- Managing technical debt and including it in work planning
- Collaborating in creating directions and visions for the development of modern IT solutions
- Providing development teams with guidance and insights to maintain
- A consistent direction when delivering business value
- Substantive support for development teams, consulting in creating solutions
- Assisting in the development of feasibility analyses and implementation assumptions for the development of IT systems
- Supporting the design and documentation of system architectures
- Acquiring and implementing new technologies
- Participating in the development of standards, supporting compliance with established standards
- Assisting in activities for improving the development process and developing DevOps culture.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and supervising system architecture
Very good knowledge of Java and Spring
Ability to create scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant distributed architectures
Very good knowledge of architectural patterns and integration practices
Experience working with cloud and infrastructure automation.
Ability to conduct code review, mentoring, and architectural workshops.
Co-creating technological roadmaps, risk assessment
Experience in end-to-end observability
Practical knowledge of API governance
Practical knowledge of DDD
Experience in Event-Driven Architecture
English proficiency at a minimum B2 level
Providing services from the territory of Poland
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with Agentic SDLC
- Experience in Multi-cloud strategies
- Advanced practical knowledge of DDD
- Cloud cost awareness
- Participation in defining technological standards in the organization
