Salary: Up to £40k Location : Aylesbury

My client is looking for a Practice Accountant who has strong experience with a strong understanding of the business cycle.

Managing a portfolio of clients, providing proactive tax and accounting advice
Conduct a ‘welcome call’ with new clients and complete a risk assessment upon client sign-up and annual AML risk assessment
Reviewing work (accounts, Corp tax, VAT and SATRs)
Experience reviewing work - Periodically review bookkeeping and collaborate with the bookkeeper to ensure accuracy.
Conduct quarterly business review meetings with relevant clients and hold an Annual Accounts Review (AAR)
Monitor the time spent by the team on each client and ensure invoicing aligns with the client's revenue and time spent.
Provide clear, practical Tax solutions to clients
Liaise with HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) on behalf of clients, handling inquiries and resolving tax-related issues.
Stay updated on changes in UK tax legislation and communicate implications to clients and the team
ACA/ ACCA Qualified or part qualified
