Senior Referent (m/f/d) Accounting
Responsibilities
- Independent management of selected topics regarding the accounting assessment of business transactions
- Preparation of IFRS Reporting Packages as well as HGB financial statements for large German group companies
- Preparation of notes, management reports, and other reporting requirements
- Advising operational units and Controlling regarding the accounting assessment of facts
- Independent area of responsibility within the framework of complex projects with a focus on accounting and operational parameters, including intra-group and external transformation processes
- Contact person for auditors as well as support during tax audits
Requirements
- Successfully completed university degree in business administration with a focus on accounting or a similar qualification
- At least 3 years of professional experience in the field of general ledger accounting or in auditing
- Very good knowledge of accounting and financial statement preparation according to IFRS and HGB
- Ideally solid knowledge of SAP financial modules and proficient use of MS Office
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Careful and conscientious way of working even under high time pressure, as well as a high degree of initiative
- Very good communication and teamwork skills
