Local OT-Security Coordinator (m/f/d)

at the Essen (Goldschmidt) location at the earliest possible date.

Responsibilities

The function of the LOSC ensures engineering support for ongoing production plants to maintain the OT-Security of automation and process control systems and infrastructure facilities at the site. To this end, the LOSC acts within the framework of corporate specifications for OT-Security (BTD 70-0001) and international standards. The core element is the OT Security Management System, in which the managed systems are identified, documented, analyzed, and represented. In doing so, the LOSC ensures the intended operation of these OT systems in accordance with OT-Security requirements. Furthermore, the LOSC is responsible for maintenance and optimization tasks, including design and specification for use by third parties.

Your tasks in detail

• In your role, you coordinate OT security measures for automation systems in the field of chemical production
• You are the central contact person for the local organizations at the Essen plant
• You are responsible for the execution and implementation of projects in the OT Security environment and support EMR project and operations engineers with questions regarding OT-Security
• Additionally, you support independent OT Security Assessments by the Group Audit, including implementation during planned migration or change measures for OT systems
• You undertake the monitoring of the implementation of OT measures and provide support for the performance of functional tests, acceptances, and commissioning
• Furthermore, you conduct threat and risk analyses and define countermeasures
• The creation of concepts for OT Security measures in the production environment is also part of your tasks
• You identify and report on the latest findings/developments in the field of Cyber-Security and support local communication to maintain higher awareness of the topic

Requirements

• You have a successfully completed degree in the fields of electrical/automation technology and a very high IT affinity, or a comparable training
• You have professional experience, preferably in the PLT environment and OT-Security
• You describe yourself as an expert in network/infrastructure technology as well as in security systems and controls, or you possess a very high affinity for these
• Ideally, you have knowledge of Siemens PCS7 and Emerson DeltaV
• Good written and spoken English skills round off your profile
• A high degree of communication and cooperation skills as well as teamwork are strengths that characterize you
• Interest and the ability to familiarize yourself with new systems and processes is a matter of course for you
