Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex projects and programmes spanning multiple business units.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, resources, risks, issues, dependencies and change throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans covering all phases of delivery.
- Manage day-to-day project activities, including working groups, steering committees and governance forums.
- Manage stakeholder expectations through effective governance, communication and engagement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Provide clear and timely status updates on project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues to senior leadership and business stakeholders.
- Ensure projects align with strategic business objectives and deliver the required outcomes and benefits.
- Identify and manage interdependencies across technology, operations and business functions.
- Monitor and control project outcomes, resolving issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical-path activities in a timely manner.
- Ensure delivery complies with relevant project governance, stage-gate controls and SDLC requirements.
Key Requirements
- Degree in an appropriate discipline or equivalent qualification.
- 9–12+ years of project management experience, preferably within banking or financial services.
- Proven experience leading large-scale projects/programmes within private banking, wealth management or a similar financial-services environment.
- Strong knowledge of wealth management operations, investment products, services and business processes.
- Proven track record of managing projects end-to-end in a lead project management capacity.
- Strong understanding of project governance, delivery methodologies, stakeholder management, risk and change management.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to provide recommendations on complex matters.
- Excellent executive-level communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Confident and self-motivated leader with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and dependencies.
