Junior Business Analyst (Data Lakehouse) - Banking / Consulting - 1-year renewable contract

Your tasks

•

Support business stakeholders in gathering, analysing, and documenting business and functional requirements for banking and finance-related projects.

•

Assist in conducting requirement-gathering sessions, workshops, and discussions with business users and stakeholders.

•

Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and other relevant documentation.

•

Analyse existing business processes and systems to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.

•

Work closely with Project Managers, Product Owners, Developers, System Analysts, and other technology teams throughout the project lifecycle.

•

Support functional and solution design discussions by providing business and process perspectives.

•

Assist with data analysis, data mapping, and reconciliation activities where required, particularly for finance-related processes.

•

Support SIT and UAT activities, including preparation and review of test scenarios, test cases, defect tracking, and issue follow-up.

•

Maintain requirements traceability and ensure that business requirements are appropriately reflected in delivered solutions.

Requirements

Key Requirements •

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

•

2–5 years of experience as a Functional Business Analyst, Business Analyst, System Analyst, or similar role.

•

Previous experience within the banking or financial services industry is preferred.
