AI/ML Solution Specialist (Banking, 1-year renewable contract)
Key Responsibilities Participate in the design, development and implementation of AI/ML solutions and applications. Work with technical leads, architects and development teams to translate business and technical requirements into AI/ML solutions. Develop, test and optimize machine learning models and AI-related applications. Support the end-to-end ML development lifecycle, including data preparation, model development, testing, deployment and monitoring. Perform data analysis, data mapping and data preparation to support AI/ML model development. Integrate AI/ML models and solutions with existing applications, systems and data platforms. Conduct testing, debugging and troubleshooting to ensure the quality, reliability and performance of AI/ML solutions. Work with application, infrastructure, security and testing teams to ensure solutions meet technical, security and operational standards. Support system integration, SIT/UAT and performance testing activities where required. Investigate technical issues, perform root cause analysis and recommend appropriate solutions or improvements. Prepare technical documentation, including solution designs, technical specifications, data flows, model documentation and testing documentation. Monitor and optimize existing AI/ML solutions to improve performance, scalability and reliability. Stay updated on emerging AI/ML technologies, tools and industry practices, and identify opportunities to apply them within the organization. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to support successful project delivery. Key Requirements Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline. Relevant experience in AI/ML, Machine Learning, Data Science or AI application development. Candidates with strong university AI/ML projects, internships or relevant academic experience will also be considered. Experience developing or working with machine learning models and AI/ML applications. Good understanding of the AI/ML lifecycle, including data preparation, model training, evaluation, deployment and monitoring. Strong programming skills in Python or other relevant programming languages. Familiarity with common AI/ML frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Pandas or equivalent. Understanding of data structures, algorithms, statistics and basic machine learning concepts. Familiarity with SQL and working with structured or unstructured data. Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP is an advantage. Experience with APIs, application integration, Git and CI/CD is an advantage. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and work through complex problems. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proactive, adaptable and willing to learn new technologies.
