Senior Contractual Collateral Specialist

Job Description:

Evoca is looking for a Senior Contractual Collateral Specialist, who will be responsible for verifying the legality and lawfulness of documents confirming rights regarding properties pledged in favor of the Bank within the framework of loan applications. They will provide necessary legal support and consultation to Bank employees, and provide legal consultation to the Bank's customers as needed, ensuring the compliance of processes with current legislation and internal regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

Verification of the legality and lawfulness of documents confirming rights regarding properties pledged in favor of the Bank within the framework of loan applications, and providing conclusions regarding existing deficiencies and legal risks,

modification and alignment of existing loan and collateral agreements with the Bank's internal legal acts, requirements of the Central Bank of Armenia, and the legislation of the Republic of Armenia,

review, analysis, and alignment of the Bank's internal legal acts with the legislation of the Republic of Armenia,

providing responses to customer inquiries regarding the clarification or modification of contract provisions,

providing necessary legal support and consultation to Bank employees, and providing legal consultation to the Bank's customers as needed.

Requirements:

higher legal education,

work experience in the financial-banking system: at least 2 years (preferably in the contractual or legal field),

good knowledge of the regulations of the Central Bank of Armenia, the civil legislation of the Republic of Armenia, and other legal acts regulating banking activities,

experience in the development and legal expertise of loan, collateral, and other banking agreements,

good knowledge of English and Russian (written and oral),

high capabilities in drafting legal documents and analytical thinking,

attention to detail and a high sense of responsibility.
