Director, Free Cash Flow & Working Capital Planning
Everpure (NYSE: P) has evolved from storage pioneer to data platform, closing fiscal 2026 with $3.7 billion in revenue, its first billion-dollar quarter, and accelerating growth into FY27. Our strategic agenda spans the companies defining the next era of technology - hyperscalers, AI labs, the AI hardware supply chain, data platform providers, and the broader AI ecosystem.
This type of work—work that changes the world—is what the tech industry was founded on. So, if you're ready to seize the endless opportunities and leave your mark, come join us.
THE ROLE
Everpure is building a new capability within Corporate FP&A, and we are looking for a Director to lead it from the ground up.
As our business evolves toward a greater mix of consumption and as-a-service models, new legal entities and centralized procurement structures, increased capital investment, and more complex supply chain dynamics, understanding and optimizing cash generation has become increasingly important.
In this highly visible role, you will own how Everpure forecasts, explains, and improves free cash flow end to end. You will build the models, data foundation, operating cadence, and ultimately the team responsible for this capability. You will partner closely with the CFO, Treasury, Accounting, Supply Chain, Operations, Investor Relations, and FP&A leadership, with meaningful influence over capital allocation and operating decisions.
Success in this role will be measured not only by forecast accuracy, but by the quality of insight delivered to decision-makers and your ability to build a durable, scalable capability that does not exist today.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and own Everpure's integrated three-statement forecast, with primary accountability for balance sheet and cash flow forecasting across monthly, quarterly, annual, and long-range planning horizons.
- Establish a driver-based free cash flow model connecting operating performance, working capital, capital expenditures, financing activity, and taxes into a single, defensible view of cash generation.
- Partner with Treasury to connect direct and indirect cash forecasting, reconciling short-term liquidity views with longer-range financial planning.
- Establish forecast accuracy metrics and disciplined variance reviews, continuously improving forecasting methodology, assumptions, and cycle times.
- Build the analytical framework for working capital across inventory, receivables, payables, deferred revenue, deferred costs, purchase commitments, and the broader cash conversion cycle.
- Model the cash and balance sheet implications of evolving business models and legal entity structures, including subscription and consumption models, intercompany flows, transfer pricing, inventory ownership, payment terms, and timing differences between revenue and cash.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, Sales Finance, and Accounting to translate operational drivers such as build plans, component and commodity costs, purchase commitments, billing terms, and collections into actionable cash insights and measurable working capital improvements.
- Own capital expenditure forecasting and prioritization across platform development, product qualification, R&D infrastructure, facilities, and IT, including business case evaluation, ROI and payback analysis, and post-investment tracking.
- Develop cash flow and balance sheet insights for executive leadership, Board and Audit Committee materials, and partner with Investor Relations and Treasury on external free cash flow guidance and related metrics.
- Support M&A, financing, and other strategic transactions through cash flow, working capital, and balance sheet modeling and diligence.
- Build the systems and data foundation for the function, partnering with Finance Systems and IT to evolve from spreadsheet-dependent processes toward scalable planning platforms, integrated data, automated reporting, and governed workflows.
- Establish the operating cadence and governance for enterprise cash forecasting, including ownership, inputs, review forums, controls, dashboards, KPIs, and documentation.
- Build and scale the function as a hands-on player-coach, defining the operating model and future team structure while remaining deeply engaged in the models, data, and analysis.
- Serve as a trusted advisor across Finance and the broader business, bringing a clear point of view on cash performance, challenging assumptions constructively, and translating complex financial dynamics into actionable recommendations.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 12+ years of progressively complex finance experience, including significant Corporate FP&A experience and demonstrated ownership of cash flow and balance sheet forecasting at scale.
- Deep, hands-on expertise in working capital mechanics, including inventory, receivables, payables, purchase commitments, and cash conversion cycle management.
- Experience operating in a hardware, manufacturing, or hybrid hardware/subscription environment with complex supply chain dynamics strongly preferred.
- Strong command of three-statement financial modeling and the accounting mechanics underlying the cash flow statement and balance sheet, including revenue recognition and the cash implications of legal entity and intercompany structures.
- Exceptional financial modeling skills, with experience building transparent, auditable, driver-based models designed for scenario and sensitivity analysis.
- Experience building new finance capabilities, processes, or teams and leading and developing finance professionals.
- Experience partnering across Treasury, Accounting, Tax, Supply Chain, Operations, Investor Relations, and FP&A to drive complex cross-functional initiatives.
- Ability to translate complex financial and operational dynamics into clear, decision-ready insights for executive leadership and Board-level audiences.
- Experience working with large, imperfect data sets and identifying the drivers and trends that matter most for business decision-making.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with experience using enterprise planning platforms such as Anaplan, Pigment, Adaptive, or similar and ERP systems such as NetSuite or SAP.
- Familiarity with modern finance data and analytics tools, including SQL, BI platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker, and data warehouses.
- BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA is a plus.
- Experience with public-company free cash flow guidance, supply chain finance, treasury, operations finance, or centralized procurement structures is a plus.
- We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Everpure's policies, unless you are on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
