Join our dedicated and future-oriented team and support us in the global procurement of components for CO₂ reduction for engines and turbochargers. As Senior Buyer Forging, Casting and Machining, your task is to implement the best suppliers worldwide and secure the global supply chain using our Category Strategy.

• Responsibility for several complex, internationally oriented purchasing groups
• Participation in the development and implementation of the procurement strategy for the assigned purchasing groups as well as the development of corresponding supplier and sourcing strategies
• Support in the development of new methods and efficient processes to achieve the agreed goals, as well as implementation of the defined strategies for the responsible area of responsibility
• Contact person for supplier management as well as preparation and conduct of negotiations
• Exchange and cooperation with colleagues from the Everllence product lines
• Cooperation in cross-functional teams
• Implementation of benchmark analyses (global sourcing activities) as well as processing the entire sourcing process for complex new part scopes
• Analysis of the worldwide procurement market involving the International Purchasing Offices and definition of the supplier portfolio for the assigned purchasing groups
• Development and implementation of leverage approaches for the sustainable reduction of component costs involving all procuring plants

With these qualifications you help us further

• Completed studies in industrial engineering, business administration with additional technical training, or in mechanical engineering with additional business administration training, or respectively a corresponding vocational training with additional qualifications
• Professional experience in procurement, preferably in the mechanical engineering or automotive industry
• Confident handling of common procurement tools
• Knowledge in the area of process simplification
• Negotiation experience
• Strong technical understanding
• Business fluent English skills in speaking and writing
• International experience as well as willingness for occasional business trips
• High assertiveness as well as analytical skills
