Service Engineer
Key Task and Responsibility:
- Perform complex commissioning, standard maintenance, repairs, overhauls, and troubleshooting on Everllence engines, turbochargers, auxiliary systems (e.g., VTA, TCS-PTG, ETB), and related products according to specified guidelines and technical documentation.
- Assist in technical planning for service assignments, including identification of spare parts requirements, reviewing technical data (work procedures, drawings, material lists), and verifying tools and spares.
- Execute Last Minute Risk Analysis (LMRA) before initiating work and strictly comply with Everllence Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Act as an on-site technical point of contact, coaching and supervising less experienced technicians during maintenance, commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance testing tasks.
- Independently analyze faults, determine remedial measures, and implement technical solutions on-site, consulting with the Superintendent Engineer where necessary.
- Record and document technical findings, providing high-quality service reports, condition pictures, and spare parts advice in English, following Everllence standards and ISO documentation requirements.
- Support the Service Manager and Superintendent Engineer with technical input for customer engagements, including appraisals, assessments, and after-service feedback.
- Coordinate service schedules with internal project managers, sales colleagues, and customers, ensuring that contractual deadlines and technical requirements are met.
- Conduct training and instruction for employees and customers, ensuring correct operational and maintenance procedures are understood and followed.
- Assist in warranty investigations by clarifying causes of faults and preparing warranty recommendations to headquarters.
- Proactively gather market and technical information from service engagements to support sales opportunities and continuous service improvement initiatives.
- Maintain active communication with PrimeServ support offices to ensure service excellence and the successful execution of customer service contracts.
- Provide on-site support to workshops as required, ensuring efficient service delivery and resolution of technical challenges.
