Purchasing & Merchandising Manager

1. Strategic Category Management

Define commercial and marketing strategies for assigned brand group categories.

Oversee overall sales, GP, and black margin targets to ensure category profitability.

Analyze category performance and consumer trends to identify growth opportunities and new brand potential.

1. Brand & Partner Relationship Management

Lead negotiations and annual business reviews with top-tier brand partners.

Align brand direction, marketing investment, and in-store execution with company objectives.

Manage brand portfolio performance, including brand in/out and category development planning.

1. Team Leadership & Development

Lead and mentor Assistant Managers and Executives, ensuring alignment and accountability to business KPIs.

Build team capability in commercial negotiation, data analysis, and marketing execution.

Review and approve team proposals, forecasts, and promotion plans.

1. Business & Operations Control

Oversee product lifecycle management, including pricing, promotion, inventory, and distribution.

Coordinate with supply chain, finance, and marketing teams for smooth cross-functional execution.

Ensure marketing campaigns and commercial activities deliver measurable ROI and align with brand positioning.

1. Reporting & Decision Making

Present business review reports, category insights, and margin analyses to management.

Develop data-driven action plans to maximize sales per space and brand profitability.

Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance or related fields. Years of Experience: Minimum 10 years’ experience in Buyer, sales & marketing, category management, or key account management Retail or FMCG background would be a plus Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office, Google Analytics Fluent in Thai and English, both written and verbal Good strategic thinking, analytical abilities, with excellent communication and presentation skills Able to multitask on multiple projects, excellent project management skills Able to work effectively and efficiently towards goals in a fast-paced Previous experience working in a dynamic, high-growth company would be a plus Able to lead multi skills team with people-oriented leadership
