Driver

Responsibilities:

Pick up and deliver packages, documents, and other items to specified locations promptly and securely.  Plan and follow efficient routes to optimize delivery times.  Obtain signatures, confirmations, or collect payments upon delivery.  Ensure the assigned vehicle is in good working condition and that all vehicle documents are up to date.  Adhere to all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and drive safely at all times.  Update logbooks and report on all matters related to the assigned motorcycle to a supervisor. 

Requirements: Must possess a valid rider's/driver's card or license.  A minimum of one to two years of experience is often required.  Must be familiar with local roads, often specified by the city (e.g., Lagos routes).  Strong organizational and time management skills are essential.  Must be punctual, reliable, honest, and able to work under minimal supervision.  Able to handle the physical demands of the job, which may include long hours.  Good communication skills are necessary for interacting with customers and supervisors.  An SSCE/WAEC qualification or higher is often the minimum educational requirement.
