Overlay Expert (m/f/x) (Data Scientist)

You are responsible for the interpretation and analysis of complex datasets related to EVG equipment to support both external and internal EVG customers in their decision-making process.

What to expect:

• Analysis and interpretation of complex datasets from various sources using statistical methods
• Focus on overlay-related analyses for wafer bonding applications
• Regular contact with dedicated on-site teams and customers to coordinate data transfer and analyses
• On-site visits to enable faster turnaround times for analyses
• Support in the planning of experiments and assistance in interpreting results to draw detailed and actionable conclusions
• Presentation of information using data visualization techniques
• Collaboration with engineering and product development teams to communicate key insights from customer projects
• Development of new analysis methods related to EVG equipment and processes

What you bring:

• A university degree in the field of "Data Science" or other data analytical disciplines
• Industry experience in scanner overlay analysis required
• Proven experience working on advanced overlay analyses in the last 5 years
• Programming skills in Matlab and Python
• Data analysis:
• Experience in data analysis and data visualization
• Knowledge of statistical analyses (e.g., experience with R, JMP)
• Skills in mathematical modeling
• Very good English skills

Salary:

We prefer to discuss salary in person, but we can reveal this much: We naturally orient ourselves towards market-standard salaries - which means that depending on the position and training, an overpayment compared to the collective agreement is possible right from the start. For this position, we offer an annual gross salary of at least 64,400 EUR. Depending on qualification and experience, there is more!
