Group CFO @ European LifeCare Group (ELCG)
Group CFO
European LifeCare Group (ELCG) is strengthening its executive leadership team and is seeking an experienced, business-minded Group CFO to lead its next phase of growth and professionalisation.
ELCG is one of Europe’s leading independent providers of vaccinations and preventive healthcare services. The company operates across Denmark, the UK, the Netherlands and Sweden, providing services that directly impact people’s health and wellbeing. It is a market leader in its niche, built on a strong operational foundation and owned by Findos, a private equity investor.
With a proven track record of organic and acquisition-driven expansion, ELCG is entering a new phase focused on scalability, digitalisation and operational excellence. The Group CFO will play a central role in developing the financial platform to support these ambitions.
The role
Reporting to the CEO, you will lead Group Finance and serve as a key partner to the leadership team, the Board and Findos. You will:
Lead and further develop a professional, business-oriented finance function covering FP&A, Controlling and Finance Operations.
Build a consistent group-wide operating model with strong governance, transparency and commercial focus.
Drive financial planning, performance management and data-driven decision-making.
Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and Findos, balancing long-term vision with hands-on execution.
Support commercial development, acquisitions, integration and digital transformation initiatives across multiple markets.
Play an active role in shaping a fast-moving, entrepreneurial organisation where speed, pragmatism and ownership are essential.
Candidate profile
We are looking for an experienced and energetic finance leader with strong analytical and commercial capabilities, ideally coming from international service, healthcare, retail-style or multi-site operations.
You thrive in both strategic and operational contexts and enjoy working close to the business, combining structure, execution power and curiosity.
Key requirements:
At least 10 years of progressive finance experience, including five years in a senior leadership role such as CFO or Finance Director.
Experience from international, multi-entity organisations in growth or transformation environments.
Proven ability to lead teams and create alignment between finance, operations and commercial functions across geographies.
A strong understanding of ERP, consolidation and BI/reporting systems, with a genuine interest in digitalisation and automation.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to work effectively with executive management, boards and owners.
A master’s-level degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
A hands-on and visible leadership style, with the confidence to work close to the details and lead by example in a growing business.
Experience working in a private equity-owned company and supporting acquisitions or post-merger integration would be an advantage.
Personal characteristics
You are energetic, structured and business-oriented, with high integrity and natural authority. You are proactive and pragmatic, and willing to get involved directly when needed.
You create clarity in complexity, inspire collaboration and balance strategic thinking with practical execution. You are a team player who communicates transparently, builds trust and thrives in a fast-moving growth environment.
