Unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role. This is a full time, permanent position, which operates on a continuous 2 week rotating pattern of 11hour day shifts: - Week One : Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday. Week Two : Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Options for shifts 06:00 to 17:00 or 07:00 to 18:00 with breaks therein. The primary purpose of this role is to support Environmental monitoring testing to assure suitability of client’s manufacturing facilities. Job Responsibilities that you be covering: You will aseptically collect environmental monitoring and cleaning validation samples at client facilities, working within sterile manufacturing environments and ensuring full compliance with GMP requirements, SOPs, and approved sampling procedures. You will perform routine and non-routine microbiological and QC testing, including bioburden, endotoxin, concentration and conductivity analysis, while maintaining accuracy, reliability, and reproducibility across all laboratory activities. You will manage samples throughout their lifecycle using LIMS, ensuring accurate chain of custody, sample receipt, aliquotting, storage, testing, reconciliation, and documentation in line with quality standards. You will review manufacturing schedules and environmental monitoring plans to ensure all required samples are collected, processed, and assessed appropriately, proactively resolving any issues and investigating OOS results or action limit excursions in accordance with client procedures. You will calculate, evaluate, review, and GMP assess analytical data, prepare technical reports, communicate results effectively, and support laboratory and equipment maintenance while contributing to continuous improvement and lean laboratory initiatives. You will build a strong understanding of client requirements, service goals, and manufacturing processes, ensuring all decisions are made with customer focus in mind, while maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge, completing required training, and adapting to new technologies and methods.

What skills, qualifications and experiences you will hold as an Shift Environmental Monitoring Scientist: You will hold a degree or higher qualification in a relevant scientific discipline such as Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry or a related life science subject. You will have experience working within a GMP-controlled pharmaceutical laboratory environment, with a strong understanding of quality and regulatory requirements. You will have excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities effectively while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You will have strong documentation and record-keeping skills, ensuring all laboratory activities and data are completed in accordance with GMP and company procedures. You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships and communicate confidently with both internal stakeholders and external clients. You will have a passion for quality, client service and continuous improvement, alongside the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver high standards of performance and customer satisfaction.
