- Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm & 11.30am - 8pm, on a rotational basis.
- Availability to work a Saturday shift when required.
Please note this is not a HYBRID role, this role will be based on site in Sandyford, Dublin 18
The main responsibilities for Laboratory Aide in Microbiology are the registering of patient specimens onto the Laboratory Information Management Systems, ensuring demographics on the forms match the specimens. Identification & resolving specimen queries. Liaise with Microbiology staff to streamline specimen reception, booking in and processing
Education Leaving Certificate or equivalent but science related diploma desirable but not essential Experience Ideally 1 year in a similar role, but not mandatory (can be trained in-house) Skills & Abilities Candidates must have the personal competence and capacity to properly discharge the duties of the role
