Insurance Manager - São Paulo/SP

Responsibilities and assignments

• Lead the local corporate insurance strategy, acting as a technical reference and the main point of connection with the global insurance strategy;
• Manage the company's insurance portfolio (P&C, D&O, Transport, Guarantee, among others) encompassing: risk assessment, proposal of mitigation solutions, coordination of renewal processes, negotiation, and contracting of insurance programs ensuring adherence to the business risk profile;
• Lead claims regulation, coordinating interdisciplinary teams and conducting loss recovery;
• Conduct strategic Insurance processes and projects, ensuring connection and engagement of internal areas and stakeholders;
• Develop and train talents, structuring the area with a focus on autonomy, performance, and a results-oriented vision;
• Conduct and develop innovation and continuous improvement projects for the area, strengthening controls, policies, and processes, consolidating a risk culture integrated into the business;
• Prepare executive reports and indicators (KPIs) for regional and global leadership.

Requirements and qualifications

• Completed degree in Administration, Economics, Actuarial Science, Engineering, Law, or related areas;
• Postgraduate degree or MBA in Insurance, Risk Management, or related areas will be considered a differentiator;
• Solid experience in corporate insurance management, preferably on the insured side;
• Leadership capacity, with a sense of responsibility for results and strategic management of the area;
• Clear and objective communication, with ease of acting in a matrix, multicultural environment with global interlocution;
• Proactivity, business vision, and orientation toward results;
• Advanced Office Package, with strong mastery of Excel and PowerPoint;
• Knowledge of SAP and Power BI will be considered a differentiator;
• Advanced or fluent English (mandatory), including the ability to conduct negotiations and perform executive presentations.
