AutoCAD Designer
Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings, layouts, plans, sections, and elevations based on engineering requirements. Develop construction and working drawings for industrial and manufacturing projects. Prepare and update as-built drawings based on site conditions and completed works. Develop floor plans, equipment layouts, factory layouts, utility layouts, and other technical drawings. Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, measurements, and project requirements. Coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical, architecture, and project teams to ensure drawings are accurate and properly integrated. Review drawings and identify design discrepancies, dimensional errors, and coordination issues. Make revisions to drawings based on engineering and site requirements. Visit project sites when required to take measurements and verify existing conditions. Maintain proper drawing records, revisions, and documentation. Ensure drawings comply with project standards, specifications, and applicable regulations. Support the engineering/project team with technical drawings and documentation required for construction and execution. Coordinate with contractors, consultants, engineers, and other stakeholders regarding drawing requirements. Prepare drawings within agreed timelines and maintain high accuracy and quality.
Requirements:
A minimum of an OND, or equivalent qualification in engineering, architecture, civil engineering, drafting, or a related field. 8–15+ years of professional experience as an AutoCAD Designer/Drafter. Strong hands-on experience with AutoCAD 2D. Experience in industrial, manufacturing, FMCG, factory, warehouse, or construction projects is preferred. Good understanding of engineering drawings, dimensions, layouts, and technical documentation. Ability to read and interpret civil, architectural, mechanical, and structural drawings. Knowledge of construction methods and site measurements. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently as well as coordinate with multidisciplinary teams. Good communication and documentation skills. Ability to manage multiple drawings and revisions within project timelines.

Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate should be an experienced and technically strong AutoCAD professional who can independently prepare and manage engineering drawings and effectively coordinate with the project, engineering, construction, and site teams.
Location Requirement:
Candidates should be currently based in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, or be willing and available to work from the Ibadan/Oyo State project location.
Remuneration: NGN 450,000-750,000 Monthly
