Proposal Manager Space (m/f)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES QUALIFICATIONS:
- Lead the end-to-end proposal lifecycle for commercial bids and ESA tenders (RFI, RFQ, ITT)
- Develop clear, compelling, and compliant proposal documents
- Analyze tender requirements and define effective bid strategies
- Ensure alignment between technical solutions, schedules, cost models, and risk assessments
- Manage timelines, milestones, and submission deadlines
- Support commercial negotiations and contract discussions
- Continuously improve proposal processes, templates, and best practices
- Degree in Engineering, Business, Aerospace, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in proposal or bid management within a technical environment (ideally space, telecommunications, or high-tech industries)
- Hands-on experience with ESA tendering processes (e.g. ITTs, EMITS) and commercial RFQs/RFIs
- Experience working with consortia and international partners
- Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and persuasive narratives
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple parallel bids
- Fluent in English; French and/or German are a plus
- Strategic thinking with a strong sense for winning proposal strategies
- Proactive, results-driven mindset
- Ability to perform under tight deadlines while maintaining high quality
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Interest in developments in the space sector
