As part of the development of our activities in the defense sector, we are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer. You will interface with various internal stakeholders, as well as our panel of suppliers. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will manage supplier quality to ensure the compliance of purchased products and services throughout the program life cycle. Your missions will be as follows:

Manage supplier quality performance:

  • Ensure the monitoring of supplier quality indicators (PPM, non-conformity rates, processing times, non-quality costs, etc.)
  • Evaluate and monitor the performance of strategic suppliers
  • Participate in supplier performance reviews and define associated improvement plans

Participate in the management of supplier non-conformities:

  • Manage the processing of non-conformities detected during reception, in production, or at customer sites
  • Lead problem-solving processes with suppliers (8D, QRQC, 5 Why, Ishikawa, etc.)
  • Verify the relevance of root cause analyses and proposed corrective actions

Provide quality support to suppliers:

  • Support suppliers in the application of quality, regulatory, and contractual requirements
  • Participate in technical and quality reviews during industrialization phases
  • Ensure the proper application of control plans and documentary requirements
  • Raise supplier awareness regarding Defense sector requirements and quality best practices

Conduct supplier audits:

  • Plan and conduct supplier quality audits
  • Evaluate the compliance of quality systems and manufacturing processes
  • Identify deviations, formalize findings, and manage associated action plans

Ensure control of the supplier quality system:

  • Participate in the development and evolution of supplier quality processes
  • Guarantee documentary compliance related to purchased products and services
  • Contribute to the management of deviations, FAI, industrial files, and specific customer requirements

With a Master's degree (Engineer or Master) in Quality, Mechanics, Materials, Industrial Processes, or equivalent, you have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a supplier quality or industrial quality position in a demanding environment (Defense, Aeronautics, Space, Automotive, Energy, Railway, etc.). In performing your missions, you are recognized as rigorous, methodical, and results-oriented, with a strong sensitivity to product and process quality. You have a good command of quality tools (8D, AMDEC, QRQC, MSP, audits, root cause analysis) as well as applicable quality standards (ISO 9001, EN 9100 or equivalent). You have the ability to work with various stakeholders, to challenge suppliers, and to unite stakeholders around quality performance objectives. Your autonomy, your capacity for analysis and synthesis, your communication skills, and your ability to evolve in a complex technical environment will be the keys to your success.
