Relevant higher education and several years of experience with good results may compensate for the education requirement Relevant experience within the field of information security or digital threats Good analytical abilities and experience with analysis of network traffic Good written and oral language skills in Norwegian and English To be employed as senioringeniør, you must additionally have: Master's degree or education at an equivalent level (hovedfag, professional studies, etc.) or scope within a relevant field of study. Several years of relevant experience with good results may compensate for the education requirement Several years of relevant experience with analysis of advanced digital threats at a technical level In addition, it is desirable if you have experience in one or more of the following fields: Knowledge in forensics, network, malware, or vulnerability analysis (pentest) Experience with analysis of security incidents or relevant investigative work Relevant experience in intelligence analysis Participated in and performed well in CTFs Technical courses/certifications Background from Forsvaret Special requirements for a position in Etterretningstjenesten: Applicants must satisfy the requirements for the highest security clearance. For employment in Etterretningstjenesten, one cannot have any citizenship other than Norwegian at the time of employment. The position is subject to compulsory service, cf. forsvarsloven and forsvarstilsatteforskriften, which implies that you can be ordered to international operations. This normally occurs on the basis of willingness. Compulsory service entails requirements for medical and physical fitness and basic English skills.
