The mission of Etterretningstjenesten is to collect information and provide warnings about conditions abroad that may threaten Norway and Norwegian interests.

Etterretningstjenesten is a multidisciplinary service with a need for varied competence. We are looking for a new material accountant who is structured and has the ability to see the big picture.

The Logistics Section is looking for a new employee with relevant experience in logistics and management who can contribute to maintaining order in the material accounts. You have relevant education and work experience, also with ERP systems. If you have experience from similar work in Forsvaret or other public enterprises, it is an advantage. As an employee in Etterretningstjenesten, you will contribute to our important societal mission, as well as be part of a competent and multidisciplinary logistics environment with a focus on delivering good services to the organization.

Tasks In this position, as part of a team, you will be responsible for the accounting of materials, ammunition, and other equipment in Etterretningstjenesten. You will be asked to report management information within your own field of expertise, as well as contribute to the development of work processes within the field. In this role, you will also be responsible for following up on Etterretningstjenesten's relationship with the rest of Forsvaret's material accounting, and the connection with the service's internal accounts. Furthermore, the position will also provide opportunities to participate in control and training activities.

Qualifications

The position has the following requirements that must be met to be considered a candidate:

• General university entrance qualification or relevant vocational certificate. Several years of relevant experience with good results may compensate for the education requirement.
• Relevant work experience
• Experience with the use of ERP systems within the field
• Good oral and written presentation skills

In addition, it is desirable if you have:

• A Bachelor's degree or education at an equivalent level (cand.-degrees, former Engineering education, etc.) or scope within a relevant field
• Completed initial military service
• Material management background from Forsvaret or other public enterprises
• Documented user training and experience with SAP and/or Unit4 Business World

Special requirements for a position in Etterretningstjenesten:

Applicants must satisfy the requirements for the highest security clearance.

For employment in Etterretningstjenesten, one cannot have any citizenship other than Norwegian at the time of employment.

The position is subject to compulsory mobilization, cf. the Defense Act and the Defense Personnel Regulations, which means that you can be ordered to international operations. This normally occurs on the basis of willingness. Compulsory mobilization entails requirements for medical and physical fitness and basic English skills. If you do not meet the requirements, you have the opportunity to apply for an exemption.

You will receive an annual salary within the range of NOK 645,000 – 765,000 in the position of Seniorkonsulent (code: 1363) according to the current Hovedtariffavtale.
