The mission of Etterretningstjenesten is to collect information and provide warnings about conditions abroad that may threaten Norway and Norwegian interests.

We are seeking a skilled and solution-oriented HR Tech Lead. In this key role, you will be responsible for ensuring that HR systems, data models, and integrations function securely and efficiently across HR. You will also hold the role of technical leader for a group of employees working with various HR systems. Tasks

• Overall responsibility for the architecture and further development of the system landscape within the HR domain
• Responsibility for data models and master data, to ensure good quality and flow to support operations, analysis, and automation
• Lead work with integrations and automation, as well as investigate consequences, risk, and resource needs
• Translate business needs into technical solutions and decision-making bases
• Act as a link between the tech environments, external vendors, and the HR environment
• Responsibility for standardization and documentation
• Act as a technical leader and follow up with employees on a daily basis on behalf of the section manager

Qualifications

The position has the following requirements that must be met to be considered a relevant applicant:

• Master's degree or education at a corresponding level (major, professional studies, etc.) or scope within a relevant field. A relevant bachelor's degree or education at a corresponding level and several years of experience with good results may compensate for the education requirement
• Experience with technical leadership, system management, project management, etc.
• Experience with ERP, HR, payroll, time, or personnel systems
• Good understanding of data flow, data models, and SQL
• Experience with requirement setting, impact assessment, and technical documentation
• Good ability to communicate technical information in a concise manner to both technical and non-technical target groups

In addition, it is desirable if you have:

• Knowledge in automation, data processing, or system integration
• Experience with reporting and visualization tools
• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, or HR analysis
• Experience with master data management, organizational structure, or access management

Special requirements for a position in Etterretningstjenesten:

Applicants must satisfy the requirements for the highest security clearance.

For employment in Etterretningstjenesten, one cannot have any citizenship other than Norwegian at the time of employment.

The position is subject to compulsory mobilization, cf. the Defense Act and the Defense Personnel Regulations, which means that you can be ordered to international operations. This normally occurs on the basis of willingness. Compulsory mobilization entails requirements for medical and physical fitness and basic English skills. If you do not meet the requirements, you have the opportunity to apply for an exemption.
