Document Management Specialist

Do you want to play a central role in developing and directing the product and equipment information of industrial environments throughout its entire lifecycle? We are looking for a document management specialist to strengthen Etteplan's Technical Communication & Data Solutions business.

In this role, you will act as an expert in the comprehensive management of technical documentation. You will ensure that our customers' documentation is of the right type, high quality, and business-valuable, as well as available throughout its entire lifecycle. You will work on customer projects independently, acting in close cooperation with our customers and our own staff.

Work takes place flexibly both remotely and on-site according to our needs. The work tasks require regular presence at the customer's or Etteplan's premises in Vantaa or Lappeenranta.

Your tasks

Your tasks include, among other things:

· Acting as a super user and developer of the document management system

· Defining, creating, and developing processes for documentation lifecycle management

· Coordinating technical documentation in projects and daily operations: e.g., information creation, inspection, change management, and publication

· Directing and supporting implementation projects for document management applications

· Active communication with customers and other stakeholders

· Acting as an expert and advisor, as well as guiding different stakeholders in the use of systems and information management methods.

What we expect from you

· Experience in managing technical documents in projects and/or an operational environment

· Experience with information management systems and documentation management solutions (e.g., M-Files, Sharepoint, Documentum/OpenText ECM)

· Understanding of the information lifecycle required in industrial operations as well as the flow of information between different stages and stakeholders (e.g., maintenance processes, equipment hierarchies, spare parts information, etc.)

· Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive work attitude in customer interfaces

· Suitable higher education (e.g., engineer or FM)

· Fluent English language skills We consider the following as an advantage

· Knowledge of standards related to information management

· Interest in utilizing AI technologies

· Experience with data model platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM360 or maintenance systems such as SAP PM

· Work experience from data center projects
