Pre-School Mandarin Teacher (Maternity Cover (Jan-Jun 2027))

The Mandarin Language Teacher will be responsible for taking care of a class of young children and facilitating small group experiences within an inquiry, play-based context in the school.

Plan engaging circle time experiences and small group experiences within an inquiry, play-based context

Document children’s learning through contributions towards newsletters, class panels and children’s portfolios

Create meaningful language opportunities for children where a love for Mandarin can be promoted;

Build and maintain close partnership with parents

华文教师主要负责照看孩子，引导孩子以探索为主导，寓教于乐。

创造温暖、关怀及培育性的环境；

建立分组式活动、探索为主导、娱乐为背景的教学模式；

具有积极的团队合作力；

保持与家长的良好沟通；

通过校园通讯、班级告示板及儿童成长观察报告记录孩子的学习经历；

提供积极的语言环境，激发孩子学习华文的热情。

Qualifications

Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education in Teaching (Chinese language) or its equivalent

At least 2 years of relevant working experience in pre-school or childcare setting is required

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Able to work well independently as well as within a team

Required to speak, read and written in Mandarin as the candidates need to teach the students Mandarin Language.

L2 Certificate

幼儿教育大专文凭，持有本科相关学历者优先；

至少2年幼儿教学经验；

普通话标准，写作规范；

工作积极，有责任感;
