Assistant Teacher cum Malay Teacher

Job Description  Assist the Main Class Teacher in setting up learning spaces, preparing teaching materials, and conducting daily inquiry-based activities. 

Conduct interactive Malay Language sessions through songs, storytelling, games, and cultural activities. 

Provide routine care and supervision for children during mealtimes, shower/hygiene routines, naptime, and outdoor play. 

Ensure the health, hygiene, and safety of children are strictly maintained according to ECDA regulations and school standards. 

Supervise children during class transitions, specialist lessons, and outdoor activities. 

Assist in documenting children’s learning and displaying their artwork and class projects. 

Maintain classroom resources, learning materials, and equipment in a clean and organized condition. 

Support school events, festive celebrations, parent-teacher meetings, and open houses. 

Build positive, respectful relationships with children, colleagues, and parents. 

Job Requirements  Minimum qualification of L2 

Proficient in spoken and written Malay to conduct Mother Tongue lessons. 

Good conversational English for daily communication with team members and parents. 

Minimum 1 year of experience in an ECDA-registered preschool or childcare center. 

Patient, nurturing, and passionate about early childhood education. 

Strong team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
