Document Preparation: Preparing and auditing international trade documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and bills of lading.

Booking & Shipping: Coordinating with shipping lines to book containers, specifically reefer (refrigerated) containers to ensure food safety.

Health & Regulatory Approvals: Obtaining necessary licenses and certificates from regulatory bodies, such as food safety authorities , phytosanitary, veterinary, and Halal agencies.

Customs Clearance: Monitoring customs brokers at ports to expedite clearance, avoiding demurrage fees and food spoilage.

Compliance & Labeling: Ensuring that product labels (ingredients and expiration dates) strictly match the standard specifications of both importing and exporting countries.

Digital Platforms Management: Registering and tracking shipments via mandatory government platforms

Banking & Finance: Opening Letters of Credit (L/Cs) and handling international payment and collection methods with banks.

Excellent Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate and persuade shipping lines, suppliers, and customs brokers to secure the best freight rates and service quality.

Fluency in English: Proficient in both written and spoken English to manage international correspondence, draft contracts, and communicate smoothly with foreign entities.

Prior Experience: 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in import/export operations, preferably within the Food & Beverages (F&B) industry.

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Logistics, International Trade, Languages, or a related field.

Customs & Regulations Knowledge: Deep understanding of customs clearance procedures, trade agreements, food safety regulations, and quarantine laws.

Digital Platforms Proficiency: Experience navigating mandatory government logistics platforms

Problem-Solving Ability: Capable of making quick decisions and resolving urgent port crises to avoid demurrage fees or food spoilage.

Attention to Detail: High accuracy in auditing sensitive shipping documents, expiry dates, and product specifications.
