Hardware Test Engineer

1. Test Equipment & Production Support

• Set up, operate, maintain, and continuously monitor production test machines and test stations.
• Debug and troubleshoot hardware-related issues (electrical, mechanical, sensors, fixtures) affecting test performance.
• Ensure calibration, preventive maintenance, ESD compliance, and operational stability of all test equipment.
• Work closely with Production and Process Engineering teams to resolve machine-related and test-related failures.
• Perform root cause analysis for test station downtime, abnormal results, and production line issues.

1. Test Process, Planning & NPI Support

• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by preparing, validating, and accepting test fixtures, jigs, and test programs.
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to support effective test planning.
• Create, review, and maintain clear test plans, test cases, and test procedures aligned with production needs.
• Estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities to meet manufacturing schedules and product launch timelines.
• Optimize test cycle time and station efficiency without compromising product quality.
• Quality Assurance & Defect Management
• Ensure all testing activities comply with internal SOPs and applicable company and industry standards.
• Identify, document, track, and follow up on defects or abnormalities within the testing process.
• Conduct regression testing after corrective actions to confirm resolution and system stability.
• Document test issues, root causes, corrective actions, and countermeasures in a structured manner.

1. Training & Knowledge Transfer

• Provide technical and skills training to new employees to ensure correct test execution and adherence to procedures.
• Support continuous knowledge sharing to improve testing consistency and team capability.
• Continuous Improvement & Reporting
• Stay updated on new testing tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance testing effectiveness.
• Prepare clear and accurate test reports and performance summaries for management review.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to testing efficiency, quality, and reliability.

1. Additional Responsibilities

• Perform other tasks assigned by management in alignment with departmental and organizational objectives.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or computer engineering. 1-3 years in same field. 2 years in the same position. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint). Previous Experience using ERP is a plus Excellent Command of Arabic & English language skills.
