AI Tech Lead / Architect

Our client, a consulting firm specializing in software engineering and committed to a Tech for Good approach, is looking for an AI Tech Lead / Architect for its innovation entity based in Paris, dedicated to developing its AI-augmented engineering approaches.

Your role

You will leverage cutting-edge AI tools to accelerate development cycles and stimulate innovation. As a key member of the team, you will lead high-impact, AI-driven engineering initiatives, from the discovery phase to delivery. You will be responsible for technical excellence, team skill development, and client success, ensuring that each project aligns with the company's approach to accelerating time-to-impact.

Your mission

As an AI Tech Lead / Architect, your main missions will be the following:

Technical leadership & architecture

• Define service scopes and reference architectures, in alignment with SLOs, security policies, and cost optimization objectives.
• Lead context engineering (functional and technical) within the product repository, ensuring transparency and quality through automated pull request templates and compliance with documentation standards.
• Perform risk and threat analyses, arbitrating between performance, confidentiality, sustainability, and security.
• Design and implement guardrails in CI/CD pipelines (anonymization of sensitive data, license verification, compliance gates...) to guarantee enterprise-grade quality.
• Continuously improve key indicators related to energy efficiency, cloud costs, and system accessibility.

Coaching & change facilitation

• Mentor and support development teams, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement, while ensuring technical delivery.
• Participate in code reviews by providing constructive feedback and paths for improvement.
• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and evaluate their potential impact on business activity and team performance.

Collaborative engagement

• Facilitate collaboration with technical sponsors and product teams, acting as a technical expertise reference.
• Participate in pitch phases, proof of concept, and ecosystem development (certifications, partnerships...).

Profile

• You are an experienced software architect and Tech Lead, recognized for your ability to integrate AI-first methods into robust and scalable technical solutions.
• You have at least 6 years of experience in software architecture and development (Java, .NET, Python, React, Angular...) and in AI, with a strong technical appetite and the ability to remain hands-on.
• You possess solid expertise in the design and scaling of cloud-native applications or AI-first architectures.
• You have a deep mastery of CI/CD processes, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), containerization technologies, and DevSecOps practices.
• You demonstrate high knowledge and curiosity regarding AI/ML technologies (OpenAI API, LangChain, Hugging Face, context engineering...).
• You are familiar with UX-as-Code approaches and design system thinking.
• You know how to support and mentor diverse teams in the development and implementation of technical solutions.
• You speak fluent English and have excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
