TASKS

In this role, you are responsible for developing and following up on the processes within anodizing. You work together with production, maintenance, and other parts of the organization. You will become an important part of our work with quality, safety, and continuous improvements and will belong to our process technology department.

As a Process Technician, you will have a central and important role in ensuring a stable, safe, and qualitative anodizing process. You work close to production and are simultaneously a driving force in long-term development and improvement work. In the role, you participate in and drive development work within the anodizing process, focusing on both inputs and process baths. You follow up on existing routines, ensure they are correct and complied with, and identify, handle, and report deviations.

An important part of the work is to perform measurements and analyses in the production environment, as well as to follow up on and control process baths, rinses, and treatment plants, and to perform necessary adjustments if needed. You are also responsible for the mixing and control of tool solutions and for managing the recycling of lye that comes in return. The role also includes an ongoing dialogue with the municipality's treatment plant regarding, among other things, sludge dewatering and treatment of reject water.

You will be close to production and have a continuous dialogue with the shift teams regarding the quality of the anodizing products. Through visual inspections, sampling, anodizing tests, as well as checks of layer and gloss meters, you contribute to ensuring high and consistent product quality. You also identify errors and potential operational disruptions and ensure that these are reported further to maintenance.

The role also involves active participation in projects, process improvements, and 5S work. You contribute to developing and implementing process-oriented training within the department and participate in initiating and prioritizing efforts that strengthen the department's strategic development. Together with colleagues and other parts of the organization, you work systematically with continuous improvements and with developing our ways of working and processes.

You also have an important responsibility to ensure that environmental requirements and internal goals within environment and energy are met. The role encompasses overall responsibility for the department's goals, quality, as well as order and tidiness, while you actively contribute to a safe working environment and a sustainable external environment. Within your area of responsibility, you have the authority to drive necessary activities and make decisions within given financial frameworks. With your competence, your commitment, and your process technology focus, you will become an important part of our continued work with development, quality, and continuous improvements.

PERSONALITY AND QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who has a professional or process technical education at an academic or high school level, combined with broad technical competence and experience from the process industry. You have knowledge in chemistry and experience working with chemicals; furthermore, you enjoy working "hands on" close to production and its processes. Experience in process development and systematic improvement work is meritorious, as is knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.

As a person, you are driven, committed, and goal- and result-oriented. You take initiative, see opportunities, and are motivated by developing both processes and ways of working. You have the ability to drive and follow up on improvement work, while also being receptive and finding it easy to cooperate with others. You have strategic thinking and the ability to see the big picture, while also being able to translate ideas into concrete improvements in everyday life. Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written, is a prerequisite for the role.
