Global Head of Enterprise Architecture - Hybrid

We're partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed business to appoint a Global Head of Enterprise Architecture reporting directly to the CIO with responsibility for defining and delivering the global Enterprise Architecture strategy.

This is a key hire, experience within a PE-backed environment, carve-out or major business transformation is essential.

The Role

• Own and develop the global Enterprise Architecture strategy and roadmap.
• Lead and manage a team of six Senior Architects, providing strategic direction, coaching and oversight across the Enterprise Architecture function.
• Ensure technology and architecture strategy is aligned with wider business objectives and transformation programmes.
• Develop and maintain enterprise architecture principles, standards, policies and governance.
• Lead cross-domain architecture across a large and complex international technology environment.
• Develop long-term architecture roadmaps supporting business growth, transformation and technology modernisation.
• Work closely with senior business and technology leaders to understand strategic priorities and translate them into clear architecture direction.
• Provide architecture leadership across major transformation and change programmes.
• Drive improvements across the Enterprise Architecture function, including processes, governance, tools and ways of working.
• Present complex architecture strategy and recommendations clearly to senior executives and board-level stakeholders.

Experience

• Experience operating at Head of, Director, Global Enterprise Architect or Chief Architect level.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience influencing C-suite and board-level executives.
• Strong architecture knowledge across Applications, Data, Infrastructure, Cloud and Security.
• A proven track record of developing and delivering long-term enterprise architecture strategies and roadmaps.
• Experience leading architecture across major business and technology transformation programmes.
• Strong knowledge of architecture governance, standards and design principles.
• Experience working across complex global or multi-business environments.
• Strong leadership, communication and influencing skills.
