Purchasing Assistant & Export Merchandiser - Internship January 2027

About the company

Within the Merchandising department and reporting to the Export Purchasing Manager, your main mission consists of assisting in the management of the Etam brand assortment for our Wholesale partners.

Your tasks

In this context, your missions are Prepare purchasing sessions (3 to 4 per season) and support the merchandiser in the selection of Export products in correlation with the commercial budget:

• Prepare product bases by department (day, night, swimwear, accessories)

• Participate in product presentations

• Coordinate the correct remote ordering by our partners: preparation of purchase orders and product presentation materials, monitoring of their selection and commitments

• Communicate export selections and volumes to the central purchasing teams

Analyze product performance

• Carry out convention reviews (sell-in analyses)

• Update weekly product reports (sell-in / sell-out) and contribute to the evolution of reports

Monitor the collection

• Monitor collection and marketing news and update various documents

• Support the preparation of showroom sessions (4 times per year)

Contribute to the improvement of our processes and work tools

Requirements

You have a background from a business school/university at a Bac +4/5 level, and you are looking for a professionalizing internship. You are dynamic and rigorous, and you are proactive in suggesting improvements to our processes. You have an eye for detail and an interest in products. You master Excel and have an affinity for numbers. Your English level is professional. Internship to start in early January 2027 for 6 months.
