Locksmithing Design Office Project Manager (M/F)

Under the responsibility of the Design Office Manager, your main missions will consist of:

Design and mechanically and physically evolve products and sub-assemblies with the objective of commercial development and innovation based on customer needs, economic and organizational constraints, while respecting safety, environmental, and intellectual property standards; Plan, pilot, and coordinate activities related to your projects according to the defined process, taking into account their feasibility and profitability; Analyze and evaluate the relevance of technical and/or economic solutions proposed by suppliers following consultations; Participate in the monitoring of project manufacturing and oversee the production of product prototypes; Specify products, sub-assemblies, and components; Compare and analyze different possible solutions from a budgetary perspective; Measure the return on investment of technical solutions; Identify, measure, and analyze risks related to project progress and propose preventive measures; Participate in and lead meetings for your assigned projects; Contribute to the certification processes for new products or sub-assemblies; Ensure technical and technological monitoring within your scope regarding locksmithing products.

You must be / have:

Preferably holder of a title, diploma, or training at a BAC + 3 to 5 level in the fields of design, product development, quality, mechanics, or production; Experience acquired in a similar position and in an industrial environment; Developed knowledge of concepts, tools, and methods related to product design; Skills to perform technical and technological monitoring; A good understanding of the product life cycle; A developed technical flair and a strong interest in locksmithing products; A good command of English, IT tools (Pack Office/CAO), and the functioning of an ERP; Good interpersonal skills as well as a strong taste for teamwork and communication; Good stress management, a conquering spirit, project management skills, and analytical abilities; An ability to maintain perspective and manage several missions in parallel according to a constrained schedule; Proactive, methodical, dynamic, autonomous, agile, conscientious, organized, and rigorous. Training may be provided depending on the profile, their skills, and the software mastered.
