Senior Tax Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Tax Compliance and Advisory
- Oversee the preparation, review, and filing of various tax returns and statutory submissions.
- Ensure clients comply with applicable federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Review tax computations, assessments, reconciliations, and other tax-related schedules.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on clients.
- Identify tax planning opportunities and recommend appropriate strategies to clients.
- Tax Audit and Investigation
- Lead and manage tax audit and investigation engagements.
- Review tax audit findings, notices, assessments, and correspondence from tax authorities.
- Represent and assist clients in dealings with relevant tax authorities.
- Develop appropriate responses to tax queries, objections, and assessments.
- Assist clients in resolving tax disputes and other regulatory matters.
- Team Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise, review, and guide Tax Managers, Tax Associates, and other team members.
- Allocate work effectively and monitor team performance and engagement progress.
- Promote teamwork, professional development, and adherence to the firm's policies and procedures.
- Quality Assurance and Risk Management
- Ensure all tax engagements are properly documented and supported
- Maintain confidentiality of client information and sensitive tax matters.
- Ensure compliance with the firm's quality control policies and procedures.
- Business Development
- Support the development and implementation of the firm's tax business development strategy.
- Participate in the preparation of proposals, quotations, presentations, and other business development materials.
- Develop and maintain professional networks that can contribute to the growth of the firm's tax practice.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- HND/B.Sc., Accounting, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- Professional qualifications: ACA, ACCA, CITN.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
