Foreign Trade Assistant

Responsibilities and duties Support the monitoring of import processes, identifying pending issues at each stage and pointing out possible solutions or next steps; Support the verification of import and export documents (invoices, packing lists, DI, LI, etc.); Perform follow-up of processes with tradings, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers; Request and monitor international freight quotes; Support the closing of import processes, both internally and with tradings; Control and monitor the sample process, including receipt, payments, and invoice verification with courier companies; Provide support to financial routines related to imports; Maintain spreadsheets and control systems updated, ensuring organization and traceability of information.
Requirements and qualifications Ongoing or completed degree in Comércio Exterior, Relações Internacionais, Administração, or related areas; Previous experience in foreign trade routines (internship or employment) is desirable; Intermediate English for reading documents, reading, and writing emails; Basic knowledge of Excel and import/export control systems; Organization, attention to detail, and good communication; Differentials: Familiarity with Siscomex; Familiarity with conta e ordem processes; Familiarity with export processes; Basic knowledge of regulatory bodies such as Anvisa and MAPA; Experience in contact with freight forwarders and tradings.
