Research and Development Analyst - Scientific Research and Writing

Responsibilities and duties

• Perform survey, critical analysis, and interpretation of scientific literature (articles, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and clinical studies);
• Prepare technical and scientific dossiers to support product development and sustain functional claims;
• Produce technical-scientific materials to support Marketing, Commercial, and Regulatory areas, ensuring precision, clarity, and scientific robustness;
• Evaluate evidence to define doses, mechanisms of action, safety, and competitive advantages of ingredients;
• Develop technical formulation rationale based on scientific evidence and strategic positioning;
• Perform structured searches in scientific databases (PubMed, Scopus, Cochrane, among others);
• Monitor updates in guidelines, regulatory positions, and scientific trends relevant to the portfolio;
• Support the regulatory area in constructing technical argumentation for registrations, notifications, and defense of claims;
• Organize and maintain an updated internal scientific database;
• Participate in technical discussions with suppliers, critically evaluating studies and technical documentation of raw materials.

Requirements and qualifications

• Completed higher education in Nutrition, Pharmacy, or Food Engineering;
• Good ability to translate scientific knowledge into practical application, connecting mechanisms of action, clinical protocols, and product positioning;
• Experience with interpretation of clinical studies and critical evaluation of methodological quality;
• Excellent technical writing skills and organization of scientific reasoning;
• Analytical profile, discerning, and with a sense of scientific responsibility;
• Ability in dynamic project management;
• Advanced knowledge of Office package;
• Advanced English level.

It will be a differential:

• Clinical experience, with the ability to correlate clinical practice with scientific evidence and product applications.
