Maintenance Technician for a Medical Device Company

Pi-Cardia is looking for a proactive and hands-on Maintenance Technician to support the company's ongoing maintenance and operational activities. The role includes responsibility for the maintenance of equipment, infrastructure, and building systems; coordinating preventive maintenance and calibration programs; managing external vendors; and ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained work environment throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for the maintenance and calibration of production, quality control, and R&D equipment, as well as facilities, jigs, and tools.
• Preparation and monitoring of an annual maintenance plan and defining the required maintenance actions for the company's equipment, facilities, and tools.
• Overall responsibility for repairing various systems, including air conditioning, electrical, and mechanical systems, including troubleshooting and root cause diagnosis.
• Working in collaboration with other departments to identify maintenance needs and set priorities.
• Assisting in training employees on safety matters related to equipment use.
• Providing initial response in emergencies related to the building and infrastructure, and coordinating with external vendors when necessary.
• High technical ability and a hands-on approach.
• Experience in the medical device industry or the healthcare field – an advantage.
• Problem-solving skills and creative thinking.
• Ability to read and understand technical and mechanical drawings.
• Proficiency in English, with an emphasis on reading and writing.
• Good communication skills and teamwork.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and handle rapid changes.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Skill in working with manual and power tools.
