Responsibilities and assignments

• Coordinate accounting activities, ensuring compliance with deadlines and the quality of accounting closings;
• Lead and develop the accounting team, promoting an environment of collaboration and high performance;
• Manage monthly closing processes, accounting reconciliations, and analyses of balance sheet and income statement accounts;
• Act in support of internal and external audits, ensuring the organization and availability of necessary information;
• Ensure the compliance of accounting processes with applicable standards and procedures;
• Support continuous improvement, automation, and optimization initiatives for the area's processes;
• Act in partnership with financial areas, controllership, and global teams, ensuring alignment of information;
• Support demands related to internal controls, compliance, and corporate requirements.

Requirements and qualifications

• Completed higher education in Ciências Contábeis;
• Solid experience in auditing (external, internal, or compliance), preferably in Big Four, combined with accounting practice;
• Experience in accounting closing, reconciliations, audit support, and management of accounting processes;
• Experience in industrial companies, preferably in manufacturing environments and multinationals;
• Experience in coordination and leadership of teams;
• Advanced English, with autonomy for communication with global teams and executives;
• Knowledge of SOX, US GAAP, and IFRS;
• Experience with SAP;
• Experience in transformation, automation, and continuous improvement projects in the accounting area.
