Butcher Assistant

Currently, we are looking for:

Butcher Assistant for our store in the center of Athens.

This position is aimed at butcher school students seeking an internship, as well as graduates or recent graduates who wish to start their professional career alongside experienced butchers in the field.

Main responsibilities and duties:

• Supporting the butcher in the daily tasks of the department
• Replenishing refrigerators, organizing the warehouse and stocks
• Participating in inventories and adhering to hygiene rules
• Customer service and involvement in the presentation of goods
• Implementation of hygiene and cleanliness regulations
• Gradual familiarization with the department codes and products, in order to be able to provide information to customers and staff

Required Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the position should possess the following:

• Studies in a butcher school (student seeking an internship, graduate, or recent graduate)
• Passion and genuine interest in the meat industry and sales
• Willingness to learn and evolve alongside experienced professionals
• Pleasant personality and quality of customer service
• Teamwork and a sense of common goals
• Good command of English
• EFET certification (or willingness to obtain it)
