Housekeeping Supervisor

We are currently looking for:

Housekeeping Supervisor for our three properties in the center of Athens.

The role carries multi-property responsibility, with supervision of housekeeping operations across all three properties. The ideal candidate is an individual with a passion for hospitality, strong organizational skills, and a leadership profile, who will ensure the high standards of cleanliness and service that characterize our brand, consistently across every property.

Main responsibilities and duties

• Daily planning, assignment, and supervision of housekeeping tasks in rooms and common areas across the three properties
• Daily physical presence and rotation between properties, depending on arrivals and occupancy needs
• Inspection and supervision of rooms and common areas to ensure a uniform ERGON quality level across all properties
• Training, guidance, and performance evaluation of a team of 15 chambermaids, aiming for continuous improvement
• Creating shift schedules and allocating staff between properties, depending on occupancy needs
• Management and control of inventory (linen, cleaning supplies, guest amenities) and par stock per property, with timely updates for replenishments
• Immediate reporting to Management regarding damages, shortages, or technical issues and coordination with the maintenance department
• Close cooperation and effective communication with the Front Office of each property regarding arrivals, departures, and special requests
• Management of guest complaints and special requests with professionalism and speed
• Ensuring strict adherence to hygiene and safety rules by all staff
• Maintaining a professional, well-groomed, and organized image at all times, both personally and at a team level

Required Qualifications:

• At least 3-5 years of experience in a Housekeeping department, of which at least 2 years in a supervisory role, preferably in a boutique or 4-5 star hotel
• Proven ability to manage, train, and motivate a team of 10+ people. Experience in a multi-property environment will be considered a significant advantage
• Ability to prioritize tasks, organize shifts, and manage time across more than one location simultaneously
• Attention to detail and high quality standards
• Ability to take initiative, enthusiasm, and customer orientation
• Very good knowledge of English
• Team spirit and leadership skills
