Software Engineer SAP Basis (m/f/d) (Application Programmer)

Your central role

• Creation of authorization, security, and operating concepts; responsible participation in internal and external audits including support for auditors as well as technical implementation of measures from audits, e.g., monitoring
• Support and control of the SAP platform
• Analysis of functional requirements and conception of technical solutions
• Creation of functional as well as, in particular, technical rough and detailed concepts
• Development, testing, as well as technical and functional introduction of IT systems using professional application of modern methods, techniques, and processes, as well as responsible collaboration in projects of various sizes

Your profile

• Successfully completed university or technical college degree, ideally in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Business Administration, or comparable training with appropriate further education as well as several years of professional experience in the required environment
• Special knowledge in the areas of Security, Audit, Authorization Management, VAIT, DORA, as well as interest or prior knowledge in the field of Insurance/Financial Services; willingness to constantly stay up to date through further training; project and test management experience is an advantage
• Strong ability to quickly grasp, analyze, and precisely formulate complex issues, combined with a strong solution orientation as well as strategic thinking and enjoyment of innovations
• High organizational ability, resilience, and flexibility, as well as a high degree of self-confidence, initiative, and assertiveness
• Strong teamwork skills and good personal presentation, especially in cooperation with customers, as well as confident use of the English language in spoken and written form
