Accounting & Finance Specialist

Our company, on behalf of a client, is seeking an Accounting & Finance Specialist, based in Metamorfosi, to strengthen their finance department.

The position holder will actively participate in the daily operation of the accounting and financial processes, with an emphasis on the correct entry and monitoring of transactions, account reconciliations, reporting, and supporting the company's financial processes.

Main Responsibilities

• Entry and verification of purchase documents, expenses, and other transactions in the ERP.
• Issuance and verification of sales invoices.
• Reconciliations of customers, suppliers, and bank accounts.
• Monitoring of collections, payments, and cash flows.
• Verification and monitoring of submissions to myDATA.
• Support in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Participation in the preparation of financial reports and analyses.
• Monitoring of requirements and obligations and relevant communication where necessary.
• Collaboration with external partners, accountants, auditors, and internal departments.
• Participation in the improvement of accounting and financial processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in an accounting or finance department.
• Very good knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Good knowledge of VAT and myDATA.
• Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
• Experience in ERP systems, with knowledge of SoftOne considered an additional asset.
• Good knowledge of the English language.
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize correctly, and take responsibility.
