Your tasks

• You develop, test, analyze errors, and maintain software applications on various platforms using established development standards and best practices.
• You work in an agile development environment and implement high-quality software features as well as product improvements.
• You contribute to architecture discussions and support the further development of our products and development processes.
• You work closely with your team to solve complex technical challenges and successfully implement project goals.
• You support the planning and implementation of software development activities in close cooperation with technical leaders and management.
• You perform code reviews, promote knowledge exchange within the team, and ensure high code quality.
• You work with the Software Quality Engineering team to develop solutions for automated testing and seamless integration throughout the entire development lifecycle.
• You use tools for Source Code Management and Work Item Tracking to support efficient software development and delivery.
• You provide technical support and collaborate with other specialist departments as required.

What you bring with you

• Completed studies in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable technical field, or a comparable practical qualification.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in software development.
• Good knowledge of software engineering principles, development methods, and frameworks.
• Experience in the development, testing, debugging, and maintenance of software applications.
• Knowledge of using Source Code Management tools and Work Item Tracking systems.
• Understanding of common software design patterns and best practices.
• Experience with Unit Testing and testable software design.
• Strong problem-solving skills as well as the ability to contribute to complex technical projects.
• Good written and spoken English skills.
• Basic understanding of Risk Management concepts.
• Knowledge of agile development methods is an advantage.
• Experience with DevOps practices and cloud-based software solutions is a plus.
• Enjoyment of working in interdisciplinary and international teams.
• Only minimal or no travel required.
