EREMS is dedicated to the design and manufacture of embedded electronic equipment and associated software for high-tech sectors, primarily for space. Thanks to the expertise of our 190 employees, EREMS has contributed since 1979 to the success of several hundred space missions, by manufacturing embedded electronic equipment for telecommunications and observation satellites, exploration probes, and space stations. For the Mars Sample Return program, for example, our teams provide Airbus Defence and Space and the European Space Agency with the RIU (Remote Interface Unit) equipment for the Earth Return Orbiter (ERO) spacecraft, which will bring Martian soil samples back to Earth. OPEN POSITION: PCB REFERENT/EXPERT

In an environment of sustained growth and constantly renewed challenges, we are looking to strengthen our PCB Design/Development team. We are looking for a PCB engineer to assist the PCB Manager in providing products that meet the applicable requirements of projects, from the inputs of the Electronics department to the delivery of files to printed circuit board manufacturers. You will play a key role in the PCB design process, from the simplest to the most complex (HDI, sequential, Flex Rigid, ), while ensuring that all applicable technical requirements are met.

YOUR MAIN ACTIVITIES

Management and monitoring of PCB files:

• Analyze and validate input data provided by electronic designers during Routing Kick-Off
• Participate in placement and routing reviews, and reporting to management
• Follow and participate in routing activities
• Verify and complete PCB design output documents, submitting deliverables for management validation
• Establish manufacturing specifications

Tools and configuration:

• Configure CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tools in accordance with applicable standards and project needs
• Ensure the maintenance of the data configuration within your scope
• Create or adapt requirement documents for future projects

Support and cross-functional relations:

• Provide technical support to project teams
• Exchange with project teams, electronic designers, and PCB designers on PCB designs
• Ensure the technical interface with PCB manufacturers
• Exchange with the vendor(s) of electronic CAD tools

AUTONOMY AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION

Based on project specifications and electronic data, you will determine technical solutions and optimize PCB design methods, with the objective of defining a product compliant with requirements. You will manage your files autonomously, with the support of your manager on strategic decisions and the most complex projects. You will notably be responsible for:

• the compliance of PCB designs with applicable requirements
• the configuration of CAD tools
• the compliance of procurement specifications with applicable requirements

REQUIRED PROFILE:

Your Master's degree (Bac+5) in electronics or a related field is complemented by significant experience in printed circuit board design, acquired during previous missions or projects. You are autonomous in:

• PCB design
• PCB manufacturing processes
• Electronic engineering
• Written communication in English (functional oral skills appreciated)

You master:

• PCB manufacturing specifications
• Reading and interpreting IPC standards
• Electronic CAD tools
• ECSS standards (an appreciated plus, not indispensable)

You have good knowledge of:

• EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility)

You have notions in:

• Mechanical and thermal engineering
• Component assembly techniques
