Thanks to the expertise of our 190 employees, EREMS has contributed since 1979 to the success of several hundred space missions, by producing embedded electronic equipment for telecommunications and observation satellites, exploration probes, and space stations. For the Mars Sample Return program, for example, our teams provide Airbus Defence and Space and the European Space Agency with the RIU (Remote Interface Unit) equipment for the Earth Return Orbiter (ERO) spacecraft, which will bring Martian soil samples back to Earth. Open Position: Embedded Electronics Project Manager (M/F) Within our project management department, you will join a team of about fifteen people. As a project manager, your mission will be to ensure the smooth running of development projects for space electronic equipment and to lead them from A to Z across all our activities. You will rely on internal teams for the various development phases (design/ manufacturing/ testing.).

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Take ownership of the RAO and the project contract, develop the management plan, schedule the project, distribute internal/external activities, and coordinate the project team;
• Communicate regularly with the client, determine the EREMS interfaces that can communicate with the client (who, when, what, how) and validate the information to be transmitted;
• Establish a project forecast in terms of human and material resources and provide reporting to the Project Management;
• Identify changes in the contractual scope, negotiate, and manage the associated amendments (Change Notice);
• Authorize the implementation of specification changes;
• Identify and manage risks and associated actions;
• Develop and manage the project development plan in compliance with the process: trigger the start of activities, and validate their completion and associated invoices;
• Identify the risks and opportunities associated with the project, and manage them;
• Verify and approve project deliverable documents and supervise their management;
• Ensure that the product quality level complies with the contract requirements, in collaboration with the project AP manager;
• Manage the archiving and closure of the project in compliance with the process (Rex);
• Validate or establish the Cahiers des Charges (CdC) for subcontractors, consult them and validate their choice, then trigger the purchases and investments related to the project;
• Ensure the compliance of the service related to the order to suppliers and validate their invoices;
• Manage key subcontractors (STB, SOW, Contract, Change Request, negotiation of the Change Notice);
• Identify market opportunities and communicate them to the project management;
• Participate in and/or lead continuous improvement actions for the "Realize and manage projects" process;
• Have the possibility to participate in the integration and training of new hires on internal methods, techniques, and processes;
• Participate in RAO as needed.

Profile sought: An electronics engineer by training, you are passionate about electronic and space techniques and you put your project management skills at the service of internal teams and your clients. You have solid experience in managing complex projects in the space sector (min 5 years), during which you have been able to demonstrate your leadership and communication skills.

You master:

• the development plans of electronic equipment in the space sector and you know how to adapt them by taking into account risks and opportunities;
• the processing of a contract and associated amendments;
• a project, anticipating associated risks/opportunities;
• the use of project management tools (Pack Office, MS Project, Power Point, Visio);
• information synthesis, decision-making, communication, and negotiation;
• oral and written communication in English.

You are autonomous in managing the life cycle and value chain of electronic equipment as well as the associated vocabulary.
