Chief Engineer

Position : Chief Engineer Vessel type : Bunker Tanker (Marine Gas Oil/ Marine Fuel Oil)

Job Description  :   1.Oversee the safe and efficient operation of all machinery onboard the bunker tanker

1. Maintain main engine, auxiliary machinery, pumps and cargo handling systems.
2. Plan and execute preventive maintenance and repairs

4 Ensure readiness of bunker transfer equipment and support safe cargo operations. 

1. Maintain proper documentation and records (logbooks, PMS, defect reporting)
2. Support audits, inspections and port/flag state control requirements

Requirements :  Valid Certificate of Competency (COC) for the role issued by recognized maritime authority Minimum 3 years of experience onboard bunker tanker operating in Singapore STCW-complaint certification (Basic Safety, Advance Fire Fighting, Medical First Aid. Tanker Familiarization etc) Experienced on Cummins engine is preferred
