How you contribute
In the area of Supply Network Planning Operations, you will work in a central planning team that ensures the worldwide supply of our products and works closely with technology centers, divisions, and other interfaces.
- For "your" products, you will take over dispositive support throughout the entire life cycle – from market launch to product phase-out.
- You will contribute to ensuring worldwide availability, defined inventory levels, and realistic production forecasts in alignment with capacities.
- Within the IT systems used, you are responsible for master data maintenance for your product portfolios, thereby ensuring a reliable basis for all planning and disposition processes.
- In the event of foreseeable bottlenecks, you will actively manage the availability of your products, create readiness-to-deliver lists, and assist in prioritizing production sequences.
- Based on defined control parameters such as coverage, lot sizes, and lead times, you will perform requirements calculations and derive concrete disposition decisions from them.
- For your products, you will develop the production budget (Plan O), create reports on deviations, and prepare these transparently for relevant stakeholders.
- In coordination with the technology centers and the involved divisions, you will create and update production forecasts, which serve as a decision-making basis for planning and capacity control.
- By triggering orders and tracking production – including schedule control and processing of backorders – you will ensure a smooth material flow.
What distinguishes you
- You have completed commercial or technical training and have ideally already gained experience in disposition or supply chain planning.
- Relevant professional experience in the disposition of products, ideally in a manufacturing or serial production environment, enables you to handle forecasts, inventories, and delivery dates with confidence.
- With a strong affinity for numbers, you can confidently analyze planning and inventory KPIs and make well-founded decisions based on them.
- Sound IT knowledge, ideally in handling SAP ERP and SAP APO or comparable planning systems, will help you to prepare and use complex data in a structured and efficient manner.
- Good basic knowledge of Supply Chain Management enables you to view requirements, capacities, and logistical dependencies holistically.
- Very good written and spoken English skills enable you to communicate confidently in our international environment.
