Role Overview
We are seeking a talented, responsible and technically proficient Technician to support the project delivery of all ENX Building Energy Management System projects. This role is critical in ensuring a smooth and customer satisfactory deployment of all projects, working closely with our Project Engineer, Sales and Software Development teams for each project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide field technical support for project deploymentsto ensure successful implementation of every project implementation.
- Manage and supervise subcontractors for cabling& electrical work for larger project deployment.
- Conduct site assessments for electrical requirements for project deployments.
- Provide technical and maintenance support for customer projects, including troubleshooting and fixing onsite issues.
- Perform the controllers and sensors installation, termination, testing and commissioning for projects.
- Document project progress, findings, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Ad hoc work as assigned by the Project Engineer and ENX Management.
Job Requirements:
- Must have excellent working knowledge and experience in electrical systems, including electrical termination experience and a strong technical understanding of systems engineering - Electrical Power Metering, Water Metering, Sensor deployments, etc.
- Experience in M&E and Building Management Systems wouldbe an advantage.
- Good knowledge of RTU Devices, testing andcommissioning and field testing experience
- Prior experience working with field engineers withoperational responsibility and planning.
- Must have good interpersonal skills and strong abilityto communicate well with customers.
- Highly reliable and organized with strong attention to detail.
- Must be self-motivated and demonstrate apro active approach to problem-solving, exhibit logical thinking and capable of working independently and be a strong team player.
Qualifications
- Higher NITEC in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Facilities Management and Engineering, or equivalent.
- At least 2-3 years of Engineering systems/IT Systems, preferably in the Building Services or Industrial Automation Industry.
